What we collect, and why

Legal basis and consent
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before any contract and under our legitimate interest in answering you. Marketing email and analytics run only on your consent, which you give by ticking the box or choosing “Allow analytics”, and which you can withdraw at any time: one click in any email, or cookie preferences on any page.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies and local storage run the site: your cookie choice, a pseudonymous session identifier and, in prototype mode, a copy of your own enquiry in your browser. With your consent we record analytics events through a data layer that may be read by Google Tag Manager or a first-party collector. Analytics payloads are designed to exclude names, email addresses, phone numbers and free-text messages. If you choose “Essential only”, no analytics events are sent. Change your choice at any time via cookie preferences.
Who we share data with
Your enquiry is seen by our advisers and, only with your instruction, by the independent lawyers, developers, banks and licensed residency partners involved in your purchase. We use service providers to host the site, deliver email and store enquiries, under contracts that restrict their use of your data. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
International transfers
Our clients and some service providers are outside Oman. Where data leaves the country of collection it is protected by contract and by the provider’s own safeguards. If you are in the UK, EU or another jurisdiction with transfer rules, the relevant safeguards apply to your data.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a client
- Client files: for the life of the engagement and the period required by Omani law
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it
- Analytics: aggregated after 14 months; session identifiers expire with the browser session
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. Write to enquiries@duneanddeed.com; we respond within one month. If you are in a jurisdiction with a data protection regulator, you may also complain to it.

We date this policy and note material changes here. Last updated 2 November 2026.
